Our design philosophy is grounded in sustainability and intention. We prioritise the use of reusable materials in our installations, select premium, locally sourced blooms wherever possible, and incorporate living plants into our designs to reduce green waste and extend the life of each arrangement. We also practice organic resource reclamation and offer natural, undyed linens within our curated tableware collection—ensuring that every detail is both elegant and environmentally conscious.
At Blumenhaus, we don’t simply style events—we cultivate atmosphere. Every design is a considered response to the setting, season and story of our clients, resulting in bespoke spaces that feel deeply personal and effortlessly sophisticated.

Hi, I’m Tayla — the designer and founder behind Blumenhaus by Tayla Fay.
Meet Tayla Fay…
Nature has always been my greatest inspiration, and working within it has been a passion rooted in my earliest memories. It all began in my grandmother’s garden, where I would spend hours pottering beside her — learning about plants, their seasons, and how to care for the ecosystem they belong to.
As I grew, so did my love for the natural world. I went on to study horticulture during high school, which led me into the landscaping industry. Designing dream outdoor spaces for clients was incredibly rewarding, and I spent eight years in that field before stepping back to focus on becoming a mother.
It was during this chapter of life that I found floristry — a creative outlet that allowed me to stay home with my little one, while continuing to design pieces that evoke emotion and connection.
I began to notice how many of the principles I’d embraced in landscaping carried through into floristry, especially my commitment to sustainability. This connection has naturally evolved into the fusion of both disciplines, which now shapes how I work with my clients on their events.
Blumenhaus offers floral design for intimate weddings and elopements, corporate events and activations, editorials, and private gatherings.
